REPERTOIRE

Simultaneously with the registration for the XVI Master Courses (or until 31.05.2025)

participants should submit a list of prepared pieces for their specialty's masterclass

by email to: starptautiskiemeistarkursi@gmail.com

For singers and intstrumentalists: the list should include 4 pieces of differing periods and styles/

including one by a Latvian composer and if possible - one piece that has been specifically

prepared for the XVI Master Courses. If you want to include a piano concerto in your list, Lauma Skride offers to play along with the orchestral part in a piano arrangement in her master classes.

Choral conductors: the list should include 3 - 4 choral pieces of different periods and styles/

including one by a Latvian composer. 

In preparing their repertoire list, participants are invited to think about ways in

which their chosen pieces reflect the theme of this year's master courses -  The Musical Score of Personality

Participation fee:

*) EUR 300, -

*) for participants who do not use accommodation/meal services - EUR 80.-

 

A 50% advance payment of the participation fee must be paid by 31.05.2025 and the remaining amount must be transferred by 30.06.2025. The fee also includes three meals a day and accommodation in a well-equipped hostel.
